Beached was my second senior project at UCF, a 3D platformer inspired by classic games such as Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie. As Lead Designer, I played a pivotal role in bringing the game to life, collaborating with a team of 13 to develop four levels, two of which I designed personally.
Over the course of one semester, I spearheaded the creation of the Game Design Document, ensuring that the mechanics developed by our tech team were implemented effectively and cohesively. I also led weekly meetings to track progress and assign tasks, working closely with the tech team to provide any necessary programming support.
Thanks to my contributions and leadership, Beached achieved great success and showcased my ability to create engaging and innovative game designs.
