My first project using Unreal 4 at UCF was Emergence, an innovative combination of a first-person shooter and a tower defense game. As a programmer on the team of 15, I played a key role in developing the game's unique features and mechanics.

During the semester-long project, I programmed one of the four turrets and implemented the player objectives, as well as creating the game's money system. Additionally, I contributed to the development of the first level by creating the level blueprint and designing the enemy pathing.

I also took the lead in designing and programming the tutorial and credits levels, showcasing my ability to develop engaging and intuitive gameplay experiences.

Overall, Emergence was a successful project that allowed me to demonstrate my programming skills and creativity in the game development.
