Overview

Enter the new era of Formula 1® in EA SPORTS™ F1® 22, the official videogame of the 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship™. Race the stunning cars of the Formula 1® and Formula 2™ 2022 season with the authentic line-up of all drivers, teams and liveries. Take control of your race experience with new immersive or broadcast race sequences. Create a team and take them to the front of the grid with new depth in the acclaimed My Team career mode, race head-to-head in split-screen, Two-Player Career or in multiplayer, or change the pace by taking supercars from some of the sport’s biggest names to the track in our all-new Pirelli Hot Laps feature.

My Contributions

At Codemasters, I have worked on a variety of projects within the realm of Formula 1. One of my key contributions was writing, designing, and implementing new dialogue for F1 22. Some of the key features included the addition of alternate F1 commentators and updating the race engineer with Marc “Elvis” Priestley, who brought a fresh and engaging voice to the game.

During recording sessions, I had the pleasure of working with top F1 talent, including David Croft, Anthony Davidson, Alex Jacques, and Natalie Pinkman, among others, helping to bring their insights and expertise into the game.

Another significant accomplishment was storyboarding and writing the intro cutscenes for both the Driver Career and My Team modes, crafting compelling narratives that immerse players in the world of F1.

I also took on ownership of the race broadcasts, updating them for both new and old tracks, ensuring that every detail was accurate and engaging for players.

In addition to my work on the game itself, I also created content for department events that helped to bring the experience of being a team owner or driver to life, adding depth and richness to the overall F1 experience.
